Various cultural, historical, religious, and social activities are held over course of the whole month of October to mark the festivities. the Kasanggayahan Festival is one the biggest celebration in the Sorsogon. The people of Sorsogon started celebrating this festival since 1974 when Sorsogon was promoted as a province. This festival focuses on the abundant havesting of crops in Sorsogon. The very first kasanggayahan Festival was the administration of Gov. Juan G. Frivaldo Which was Sorsogon 80th foundation Anniversary as an province. 1974. Kasanggayahan is an old bikol
